B. Goode

About 18 years ago, I saw Chuck Berry in concert.  It was in Pleasanton, California, and he played with Jerry Lee Lewis and Little Richard.  It was a terrible concert.  These guys were totally phoning it in, but I bet they were great in their day.  At one point, Chuck figured out that they were running a video feed of him to play on the screens in the auditorium (for us poor folk in the back) and he flipped out.  He stopped playing in the middle of a song until they killed the video feed because thought they were stealing his performance.  It was horrible.  I guess it’s hard to replay the glory of the past.  Still, if you’d like to try, have a listen.
